Special Meeting Agenda
1. Call to Order
Commissioner Gott called the Special Meeting of the Marion Park District to order at 5:41 p.m.
2. Open Forum
There are no public attendees at the Regular Meeting and no discussion items.
3. Approval of November 18, 2019 Agenda
Commissioner Sheffler made a motion at 5:43 p.m.; seconded by Commissioner Gardiner to approve the November 18, 2019 agenda. Roll called. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
4. Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (2) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act (if
requested):
- Personnel – To consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony or a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.
Commissioner McReynolds made a motion at 5:44 p.m.; seconded by Commissioner Gardiner to approve the going into Executive Session. Roll called. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
5. Reconvene to Open Session (possible actions following Executive Session)
Commissioner Gardiner made a motion at 6:13 p.m.; seconded by Commissioner Welch to reconvene to Open Session. Roll called. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
6. Next Meeting Date: November 19, 2019 at 6:45 p.m. (Tax Levy Hearing)
November 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. (Regular Meeting)
7. Adjournment
Commissioner McReynolds made a motion at 6:16 p.m.; seconded by Commissioner Welch to approve adjourn the Special Meeting of the Marion Park District. Roll called. Motion carried with unanimous vote.
