Can I rent the Scout Cabins or Pavilions in Ashley Park or Ray Fosse Park?
Yes! The Marion Park District offers several rental options for gatherings and events.
There are three large pavilions available at Ray Fosse Park and one large pavilion at Ashley Park.
Rental Fees: $55/day (Ray Fosse Park) and $30/day (Ashley Park)
All other pavilions are first come, first served

When and where are the park board's monthly meetings?
Park Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Marion Park District Office,
1401 N. Otis Street, Marion, IL.
(Note: May, November, and December meetings are moved to the third Monday due to holidays.)
All meetings are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.
Can I rent The Aquatic Center for a private party?
Yes. The Marion Park District Aquatic Center is available for private rentals during the swim season.

How do I turn the lights on at the tennis courts at Harrison-Bruce Park?
There is a push-button switch on the light pole near the court entrance. Press the button once to activate the lights.
They will automatically turn off at 11:00 p.m. according to the park’s timer system.
When do all of the park restrooms open?
Restrooms across all Marion Park District parks are generally open from April through October, depending on weather conditions.
When does Goofy Golf open?

Does the Aquatic Center offer private and group swimming lessons?
Yes. The Aquatic Center offers both private and group swimming lessons during the summer season.

If staff are unavailable, please leave a message — your call will be returned as soon as possible.
When does the Aquatic Center open and close for the season?
The Aquatic Center typically opens on Memorial Day Weekend and closes in early August.
Exact opening and closing dates vary each year, so please contact the Park Office for current season details.
