a. (21) Executive / Closed Minutes – Discussion of minutes of meetings lawfully closed under Illinois Open Meetings Act, whether for purposes of approval by the body of the minutes or semi-annual review of the minutes.
b. (1) Personnel – To consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony or complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.
c. (2) Collective Bargaining – the collective negotiations between public employers and their employees and deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employee.

a. Discuss / Approve applying for the OSLAD (Open Space Land Acquisition and Development) Grant for FY2027 deadline is August 31, 2026.
b. Discuss / Approve Executive Director Odum hiring temporary staff to the Marion Park District for FY2027.
c. Discuss / Approve performance / evaluation of Executive Director Odum for FY2027.
d. Discuss / Approve performance / evaluation of Deputy Director Bauernfeind – Moore for FY2027.
e. Discuss / Approve the purchase of a skid steer in the amount of $44,770.63 from Bobcat using Sourcewell contract.
f. Approval of the Executive Session minutes from November 24, 2025, April 27, 2026, May 18, 2026, and June 22, 2026, to remain closed with or without exception.
g. Discuss / Approve Southern Illinois Resource & Advocacy Center utilizing Pyramid Park for an Adult Softball league tournament / event in September / October 2026 to celebrate National Recovery month.
